History
The night sky was adorned with massave brilliance, illuminating the earth below. This was the perfect ending to a beautiful day she thought to herself as he walked her to her car. 'Can it get better than this?' she wondered.
"There is Orion" he said pointing upward, "And there is the big dipper" he pointed out in its opposite direction. "That one is easy to see" he finished.
She followed his brief astronomy lesson in amazement. 'Was there anything this man had no knowledge of?' She thought as she remembered some of their earlier conversations. They discussed sports, music, trivia and now astronomy. Each topic different and each discussion more intriguing than the last. She returned her gaze from the heavens to her wordsmith when she realized he was no longer speaking. His intent facial expression drew her closer to him as she wondered what was on his mind.
"I want to make history with you" he stated looking thru her eyes and into her very being. At that moment time stood still. Everything surrounding the two of them disappeared and nothing else mattered except what was standing in front of her.
He took her hands and repeated his proclimation. She smiled uncontrollably, fought back the urge to smother him with kisses and returned his gaze. This was the most perfect moment with the most perfect man and she couldn't believe it was happening to her.
